First Responder Sensory Kits

Christopher’s Voice Deploys Free Emergency Sensory Kits to First Responders

Since 2017 Christopher’s Voice has provided over 300 free Sesnory Kits to First Responders throughout Westchester County and beyond. These sensory kits have been shipped by Christopher’s Voice to several states throughout the country. Each kit is equipped with sensory toys, noise reduction headphones and guidance documents that first responders can rely upon when encountering an autistic child. The tools (toys) provided may assist the officer and the child by calming him/her down during an emergnecy; which may include a motor vehicle accident or wandering event.

Providing these sensory kits and giving our son a Voice in the community is a true honor.
